- Taking care of marketing & merchandising, responsible for merchandising & production management, including sampling, fit & preproduction approvals, materials & trim approvals, works with QA's for timely inspection, update to buyer & the production status
- Costing, corresponding & dealing with foreign buyer as well as independently from inquiry up to shipment.
- Able to solved the problem and organized the task (TIME & ACTION calendar) to meet the deadline.
- Analyzed the market trends and buyer requirement, and developed creative and innovative sample.
- Co-ordinate with Buyer's/Agencies for approval of material, lab-testing etc.
- Conducted regularly meeting once a week with Production Planning dept and production management department with a view to update the daily activities.
- Tracks development and production merchandising issues
- Worked with team to establish seasonal business goals.
- Develop action plans based on sales performance trends across global business units to impact line-planning process and influence assortment strategies and product merchandising.
- Generate analysis and draw conclusions to ensure productive assortment flows on core product that will comp business seasonally and monthly across all business units
- Apply and maintain attributes and methodology to categorically evaluate accessories business on a global basis
Educational Requirements :
- Masters in any Reputed University /Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Retail Buying or Merchandising or Production or B. Sc in Footwear/ Leather Engineering
- • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Merchandise Planning.
