- Conduct awareness programs among employees to ensure all rules and regulations, policies and procedures, discipline, welfare, and compliance related issues.
- Ensure that all welfare activities are carried out in accordance with Bangladesh Labor Law-2006 and Labor Rules 2015.
- To establish effective communication between management and workers, and hold consultations with a view to maintain harmonious relations between management and workers.
- To look after the provision of amenities such as dining, adequate toilet facilities, drinking water, etc.
- Conduct training on buyers' COC, workers’ rights and responsibilities, occupational health and safety, machine guards, use of PPE, etc.
- Checking complaint/suggestion boxes to share the notes, if any, with the concerned management.
- Encourage and provide them with appreciation and participation in sports, games, and social and cultural events.
- Take special care of pregnant workers, manage daycare centers, and complain boxes and take action accordingly.
- Counsel workers to ensure health and safety-related issues are addressed and motivate them to maintain hygiene in the workplace.
- Should have experience with the Higg Index-Facility Social Labor Module (FSLM) CAF Version 1.4.
- Maintain up-to-date databases, records, logs, and registers for different areas of counseling and submit reports to the management on a regular basis.
- Conduct orientation for new employees.
- Counsel the absent workers to reduce absenteeism as well as to ensure health and safety-related issues are addressed and motivate them to maintain hygiene in the workplace.
- Look after occupational health and safety issues for the assigned area.
- Encourage and motivate workers for better performance.
Educational Requirements :
- Minimum Graduation/ BBA / MBA in Human Resource Management from any reputed university.
Experience Requirements :
- 2 to 4 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Counseling, Labour Welfare, Training
