Chief Finance Officer will lead the Finance and Accounts Department to develop and maintain the financial health of Maven Autos Ltd. and eGarage Ltd. effectively and ethically. This is a leadership position, in which the incumbent will work in partnership with other offices/centers/departments.
- As an important member of the senior Management panel who will report to Chairman/MD.
- It will include specific responsibility for accounting, finance, costing, strategic planning, contract analysis and negotiations, investment, all VAT taxation and treasury functions.
- Arranging credit facilities for strategic investments and regularly monitoring compliance of terms and conditions of received credit facilities.
- Be responsible for meeting all statutory compliance issues as well as timely reporting to management, Tax & VAT Authorities and other bodies.
- Develop a flexible annual audit plan and submit to the Management for review and approval as well as periodic updates;
- Supervise the accounting and related financial services including financial report generation and analysis, ensuring implementation of recognized accounting standards in accounting practices.
- Well conversant with bank companies Act, Financial institutions Act and related Bangladesh Bank guidelines.
- Taking proactive measures for ensuing required cash flow for regular operations as well as different strategic developments.
- Sound knowledge of core Risk of financial institutions e.g. Credit Risk, Asset liabilities manage Risk, ICC Risk and ICT Risk etc.
- Assist in formulating company's future financial plan and supporting financial activities.
- Develop internal control policies and effective accounting system & policies.
- Providing necessary document to meeting the requirements of auditors and other regulatory authority.
- Executing any other assignment as and when required by the authority.
Educational Requirements :
- Master of Commerce (MCom), Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance
- Preference will be given to candidates with CA / CMA/ACCA.
Experience Requirements :
- At least 10 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Accounting and Finance, Audit, Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis, VAT and Tax
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Audit Firms /Tax Consultant, Banks, Financial Consultants, Motor Workshop
