• The primary responsibility is to prepare appropriate seed production plan and strategy to achieve the plan for the betterment of the business in all areas of assigned job.
• Prepare and implement cost effective production budget, quality assurance system of this seeds through contract growers.
• Entrusted with the responsibility of producing quality hybrid & inbreed seed and maintaining the seed quality through own entrepreneurship management and Contract Grower (CG) system.
• Forming Production Block by lease land.
• Manage Contract growers and location selection.
• Conducting multi-regional/ multi-location trials of Rice, Maize, Vegetables& Fodder.
• Manage research input materials and expenditure.
• Supervise maintenance and collecting data/parameter of different experimental study and entry in computer and report it in proper time.
• Analyses the report and preparing action plan to fixed in experiment.
• Prepared field production budget, Production planning.
• Frequently monitoring and supervision of each production block to ensure quality seed production by providing technical support as a local expert.
• Conduct synchronization trials of newly developed hybrid.
• Impart training to the newly appointed employee and Contract Growers.
• Follow-up the progress of team activities and individual's performance.
• Arranged field visit for Seed Certification Agency (SCA) personnel.
• Control the administration of the project and ensure timely reporting.
• Entrusted with the responsibility of data record keeping.
• Collaborating closely with the field production, quality control, Seed Processing &preservation team, marketing and sales team.
• Frequently monitoring and supervision of each trials to ensure quality trial by providing technical support.

• Age at most 40 years

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed production/R&D)
• Must have knowledge in Seed production (Paddy Seed, Vegetable Seed, Potato Seed) techniques, Synchronization method/technique, fertilizer management, pest control method, sowing, transplanting, harvesting, parent line maintaining, experimental trial conduct, etc.
• Must have technical know-how on Seed quality (Seed purity, seedvigour, germination, seed improvement, seed processing & preservation, field inspection, different field techniques related to seed quality e.g. rouging.
• Must have knowledge in Post-harvest operations, seed drying techniques, seed cleaning, seed storage method etc.
• Must have technical know-how on Pollination technique, hybrid variety development technique, seed production technique of cross pollinated varieties, detasseling technique etc.
• Should have knowledge on Hybrid seed production, Isolation, rouging, fertilizer management, pest control management, water management etc.
• Have to know the difference between Potato & seed potato, seed potato production and multiplication, potato seed production technology.
