- In the Senior role of Bangladesh Operations Manager, you will report to the Country Manager of Sealand Bangladesh. The position will be based in Chittagong, Bangladesh.
- Your area of responsibility is to:
- Lead and manage operations execution team members to achieve the key performance metrics and the required service standards.
- Process excellence to ensure smooth execution of vessel husbandry and handling activities.
- Stakeholder management and liaison with authorities to balance company’s commercial and operational aspects as per compliant manner.
- Deliver KPI targets for Operations: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity and Cost Efficiency.?
- Implement Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and all other business compliance standards for the respective Operations. Accountable to ensure a safe work environment and continuous improvement in HSE processes.?
- · Develop SOP for all execution and Implement continuous Improvement Plan for the Operations.?Champion a culture of Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement across the Operations.
- Monitor and analyze P&L of the operations, establish business controls, and provide solutions to minimize cost and increase revenue. Deliver YOY savings and all other Financial performance KPIs.?
- Assist Procurement team to identify potential suppliers in specific region/area within Bangladesh.
- Develop talent pool and career pipeline for future organization requirement. · Defines requirements for operation and ensures the implementation of new strategies and initiatives to effectively meet or exceed requirements & customer expectations.
- Effectively balance capacity with customer-demand and workload.
- Works collaboratively with client and internal stakeholders to assure operational effectiveness and to exceed customer expectations.
- Maintain and enhance relationships and goodwill with key government stakeholders. Advising, apprising, assisting, conferring, and counselling with these on terminal issues and initiatives.
