Job Profile:
The Project Coordinator (PC) is responsible for the overall management of the DiC-II Project in consultation with the Joint Director, Education and TVET Sector. She/he is responsible for overall planning, implementing, monitoring and maintaining quality of the project for the achievement of the project objectives with project team members. Day-to-day administration of the project and full-scale project cycle management is the core task of PC. Regular coordination within and donor liaison and reporting are routine tasks. Project Coordinator is expected to perform, maintain transparency and accountability within the project management and with DAM and partners. She/he serves as the convener of the Project Steering Committee, providing technical support, and ensuring all supplies and logistics to reach field timely. Strategic guidance and leadership to project are core elements of Project Coordinator.
Design local level mobilization, lobby, advocacy and campaign interventions;
Coach and mentor, the field staff to improve their required skills;
Facilitate the process of activity, output and outcome monitoring;
Identify learning, best practices and carry out necessary documentation;
Compile and develop report and ensure the timely submission to the donor.
Facilitate preparation of work plan and implementation of the project activities as planned
Periodic project budget analysis, review, adjustment and ensure financial control mechanism
Regular follow up and supervision of the field programs and provide guidance as required
Regular appraisal of the staff performance, assess competency needs and initiate capacity development of the staff members within purview of the project
Accomplish any other assigned tasks as given by the Education Sector and DAM
Educational Requirements :
A Master’s degree in a relevant field (Social Science Faculty)
Experience Requirements :
At least 8 year(s)

Essential Qualifications and experience:
A Master’s degree in a relevant field (Social Science Faculty)
Minimum of 8 years of work experience within the field of education/ Protection as Project coordination and project Management post
Experience working with national/International NGOs
Experience in Team trust building, conflict, management and as a Team player
Experience working in a Rights-based approach
Practical knowledge and skills in Interpersonal communication & professional relationship
Experience with capacity building of staff, and in convening and facilitating Seminar, workshops etc.
Experience in Budgeting and financial report analysis
Excellent analytical and report writing skills (English)
Fluency in written and spoken English if essential
Experience in computer literacy and web browsing
Skills in proposal development and review

Understanding of development programs with special focus on education program
Contemporary understanding and practice of project cycle management
Program development, planning, organizing, monitoring and evaluation of the projects
Organization leadership and senior management experiences
