A unique opportunity exists for a high calibre and ambitious production executive with a passion for sustainable and ethical manufacturing. In this role, you will have direct responsibility for resource planning, reporting, analysis and productivity improvements in a pioneering and growing export-oriented manufacturing company. It will also involve some supervision of production. The successful candidates will rapidly develop their skills and play a key role in the future of the company.
We use technical expertise with natural materials to design and manufacture beautiful everyday products from known and sustainable sources. Economically marginalized communities are impacted through the creation of dignified employment.
Forecasting, planning, reporting of resources including labour, raw materials, space, machinery etc. using ERP software and MS Excel.
Problem solving, SOP development, and execution of Continuous Improvement / Productivity projects using Lean manufacturing methods.
Liaising closely with Finance, Supply Chain and Quality teams to ensure raw material supplies are aligned with production plans.
Developing the leadership and technical capacity of the production assistants, section leaders and all production staff.
Occasional direct supervision of production.
Educational Requirements :
Diploma in Engineering,Bachelor degree in any discipline
