We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage the company’s supply of products and services. Procurement Manager responsibilities include strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. The Procurement Manager’s duty is to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people.
- Interact with key stakeholders in identifying business operational needs, building relationships and selling the features and benefits of early procurement involvement.
- Develop detailed sourcing and category plans to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
- Manage preparation, implementation and execution of procurement processes.
- Implement procurement processes to ensure efficiency, cost savings and best practices.
- Support team to ensure vendor management through vendor selection, management, performance and serve the customer within stipulated time.
- Perform sourcing, liaising and negotiating with new and existing suppliers to improve business.
- Re-negotiate contracts with suppliers to produce better savings and further value for spend.
- Create documentations necessary for the acquisition of materials and services.
- Review supplies, works and services to ensure compliance with company procurement & sourcing policy and procedures for best procurement practice.
- Provide updates about procurement related progress and potential delays (if any) on a routine basis to the Business Managers.
- Maintain positive working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.
- Analyze market and delivery trends and to work on to develop procurement technologies and processes that support those trends.
- Reviews cost proposals and pricing information and maximize company interest.
- Prepares and administers contracts and purchase orders with specific vendors.
- Ensure professional transparency to compares bids from vendors and determines, or assists with determination, to whom contracts will be awarded.
- Evaluates vendor proposals to ensure that all requirements are met.
- Confirms that terms and delivery dates are accurate.
- Evaluates competence of vendors and reviews their invoices for accuracy.
- Maintains database regarding vendors’ performance and quality of product(s).
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Coordinate deliveries according to the purchase order.
Educational Requirements :
- Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Candidates with PGD in Supply Chain will be preferred.
- Skills Required: MS Office, Strong communication and presentation skills, Strong negotiation skills
