Social Assistance and Rehabilitation for the Physically Vulnerable (SARPV) is a non- government, non-political, Bangladeshi organization under its Health & Nutrition program providing lifesaving health & nutrition support to the local Bangladeshi & rohingya people of Cox’s Bazar.
Manages financial transactions and financial planning for the organization.
Manages disbursement and receipting of all funds for assigned programs.
Assists in formulating and administering approved general accounting practices for the organization.
Assists in comprehensive budget preparations for the projects.
Assists in the directing of the financial forecasting, planning, and budget processes.
Develops and maintains financial and business policies, controls, and reporting procedures.
Manages the reporting of financial information from all operations.
2. Financial Operations:
Ensure Records and posts all financial transactions.
Manage financial data and assists with the annual audit.
Assist and Check to Prepares journal entries to record bi-weekly payroll, payroll accounts analysis and reconciliation.
Develops and documents systematic procedures for payroll related tasks.
Checking Pays bills, handles correspondence, and maintains files.
Prepares financial statements, estimates, summaries, and other financial analyses and management reports.
Evaluates financial reporting system and accounting procedures
Maintains accumulated time Sheet summary
3. Donor Reports:
Timely collect all Donor Reports from respective project and cross checked.
Timely submit all Donor Report to Chief Executive for approval and send to respective donor.
Providing General and logistical support to the program
Preparation of budget & budgetary control
Assist Regional Director/Head of Nutrition to prepare program's annual proposed and revised budget
Preparing and dispatching Monthly/ Quarterly/ Yearly financial statements by using accounting Software
Preparing of monthly/quarterly/yearly budget of the Unit in consultation with the Coordinator
Performing administrative responsibilities as per the guideline of Program Coordinator.
Auditing and providing support to the office colleagues for their Monthly works and keep in close monitoring and Supervising.
Any other duties from senior management
Educational Requirements :
Masters in Finance
Certification of CA, ACCA or CPA will have advantage
Experience Requirements :
At least 7 year(s)
Additional Requirements :
Experience in a senior financial management position
At least 2 years' experience with people management
Proven experience in managing large budgets
The applicants should have competency with ERP software-based accounting system.
Proven leadership skills and a competence in people management
Competence in providing technical guidance and training
Proven experience in working with national partners, local/government authorities
Working experience with relevant donors United Nation Body & I-NGOs
Advanced proficiency in Excel as well as experience working in a financial IT system
Full professional proficiency in English
