A shariah based commercial bank is looking for a dynamic individual to lead the Trade Services Department.
- Assist/Supervise Export & Import Department in all types of works,
- Monitoring to Branches regarding expired LCs, BGs & unrealized BG commissions,
- LC and Amendment Checking before transmission and check proper transmission (Network ACK),
- Examination of Import Shipping Documents especially foreign documents,
- Monitoring to Branches regarding expired TRs (Trust Receipt),
- Checking Payment Instructions of LCs and confirm all payments executed through Payment Centre,
- Monitoring proper record maintenance such as - manual register, Excel register, proper file-up etc.
- Monitoring Bangladesh Bank Returns,
- Prepare/Monitoring different statements required by Head Office time to time,
- Assist/Supervise all types of ID related works,
- Assist/Supervise all types of SWIFT related works.
- Any other works assigned by management/In-charge time to time etc.
Educational Requirements :
- Master's in Business/ Bank Management/ Law or any relevant subjects from a reputed University with no third division in academic records.
Experience Requirements :
Additional Requirements :
- Age at most 45 years
- Minimum 05 years' experience in Trade Services department of any Bank.
- Candidate must have knowledge on LC/ BG.
- Good interpersonal, communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent personality with positive approach/attitude.
- Excellent capability in operating computer applications.
- Hard working and ability to work under pressure.
- Must be fluent in English (speaking and writing).
- For experienced Trade Service Officer, designation can be relaxed.
