Job Responsibilities :
  • Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user's specialised role
  • Design and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and views
  • Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner
  • Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
  • Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
  • Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users
  • Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
  • Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
  • Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
  • Performance tuning (indexing, analyzing execution plan), Administering (database backup -restore service), DRS managing, Set security measure, access controlling
  • Enable audit tools for log, find out the changes, and other sensitive information by configuring and periodic checking
  • Mange data and database by following the ISO standard, GRC
  • Ensure database backup and replication service to prevent data loss. Database normalization, handing the relational database
Educational Requirements :
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science and Engineering
Experience Requirements :
  • 2 to 5 year(s)
Additional Requirements :
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • Strong communication skills and techno-functional leadership.
  • Strong commercial acumen and able to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
  • At least five years of experience of Database Programming at relevant field.
  • Ability of new technology adaptation & implementation.
