  • Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a National NGO with Consultative Status with UN ECOSOC and UNESCO. It works for social and spiritual development of the human community. Founded with the motto of “Divine and Humanitarian Services”, over last 62 years DAM has been serving the human community for improved living conditions enhancing people`s capacities to maximally utilize their inner potentials. DAM`s current diversified works encompass multi-dimensional field programs and self-governing institutions in education, health and economies development sectors in Bangladesh.
  • `Out of School Children` Education Program as Second Chance Education (SCE) Program under the sub-component 2.5 of PEDP-4 aims to provide primary education through a flexible non-formal education system to 25,500 out of school children of 8-14 years age group implemented by Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) as an Implementing Support Agency (ISA). The second chance education program has operated under the overall structure of Bureau of Non-Formal Education (BNFE). Second Chance Education is a purposeful and systematically organized form of learning with flexibility in delivery, based on the requirement of educationally deprived out of School Children to complete their primary education cycle. The intervention have designed in an effort to overcome the barriers and challenges causing dropouts. Second chance education will play a crucial role alongside formal primary education mainstream.
  • Job Location: Chattogram District Office, Frequent field visit will be required.

Job Responsibilities :
    M.Com/MBA/Masters, 3-5 Years of experience in audit, finance management, administrative and logistics management in offices/NGOs. Following up and providing administrative, logistics & technical support to the central & field office. Skilled in financial and inventory/asset management reporting. Building ensures internal control system, financial report preparation to the donor. Skill in Tally accounting software is given preference. Computer skill is must with able to work in tally software. Overall to ensure financial records, transparency and that all responsibilities are carried out efficiently and according to the organization's rules and regulations.
Educational Requirements :
  • Minimum M.Com/MBA/Masters degree Accounting or Finance from any reputed University.
  • Skills Required: communication and interpersonal skill.
  • Computer skill is must with able to using Tally Software.
Experience Requirements :
  • 3 to 5 year(s)
Additional Requirements :
  • Good Knowledge about Safeguarding policies specially on child protection, Gender and Harassment Policy.
  • Able to carry out Book Keeping, monthly and quarterly report making using computerized accounting software.

  • Good understanding of Government/NBR rules regarding TAX and VAT.
  • Able to work with district AG office
  • Able to work in Tally software, Reporting.
  • Regular update, periodical review and maintain books of accounts.
  • Prepare fund transfer requests and cash flow management for the project.
  • Make timely payment to vendors, consultants, and salaries to the staff.
  • Assist in the statutory audit and audit of financial report to donors and share a periodical report on audit observations and queries and take necessary action.
  • Prepare periodical internal and external financial reports (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and year-end procedures).
  • Maintain spreadsheets showing spend against budget, monitor, analyze and present periodical control reports.
  • Manage tasks related to administration, documentation, resources management, government affairs.
  • Manage admin relating to programme operations, meetings, trainings, events.
  • Manage admin relating to travel of staff and visitors: visa, tickets, arranging transfer/fleet and accommodation arrangements.
  • Plan and arrange meetings, workshops and training courses, seminars, obtaining permits and authorization as assigned
  • Responsible for maintaining technical infrastructure (e.g. purchase of printer cartridges) and arranging repairing and servicing of equipment and to ensure that the supplies are adequately purchased and kept in stock.
  • Ensuring the office is maintained and cleaned to a high standard.
  • Highly encourage who have the experience of working with District AD office of BNFE
