  • Concerned Women for Family Development (CWFD) emerged from an emotional response in 1976 to help women in need of reproductive health care and counseling. Then it became an organization and being implemented various projects with support from different development partners in many areas. Its vision is to Empower women, youths and adolescents to achieve gender equality and social justice within family and society. The CWFD`s mission is to support promote and protect interest of women in Bangladesh by providing community based health care, empower under privileged adolescent and youth, helping to provide legal support to girls and women- who are victims of domestic violence and develop human resources for positive social changes. Currently CWFD has been implementing the Agameer Pathe (WVLB) Project in partnering with Manusher Jonno Foundation.

Job Responsibilities :
  • The incumbent will maintain all kinds of liaison, coordination and effective communication among the stakeholder, donor's representatives and other stakeholders for effective implementation of the project activities.
  • Capable in preparation of budgets, budgetary control and financial reports.
  • Have good knowledge of accounts and administration with TDS and VAT regulation.
  • Writing of cheque and maintenance of cheque books.
  • Maintains project Financials and accounting files.
  • Reviews all kind of invoices and ensure all documents are following project policies and prepare the relevant voucher for payment.
  • Before any payment make sure expenses are allowable, approved properly before processing, verifying documentation, have enough supporting documents, and appropriate exchange rate and cash management in place.
  • Maintenance of Bank Register and Cash Book.
  • Preparation of petty cash vouchers and maintenance of petty cash register.
  • Prepare salary, benefit and honoraria sheet/register and submit it to bank with necessary instructions.
  • Ensure payments are made after fulfilling of all the required formalities.
  • Ensure safe custody of the cash in hand and cheque books of the office.
  • Reimburse travel expenses and per diem bills to the project office staff.
  • Collect and reconcile bank statements as and when required.
  • Ensure that each and every staff duly sign salary and benefit register and honoraria sheet.
  • Procurement and Stock Maintenance.
  • Maintain the staff movement register for all the project office staff.
  • Maintain both Consumable and Fixed Asset Register.
  • Maintain personal files and records of all staff.
  • Arrange procurement as per procurement policy and budget provision.
  • Assist Field Manager in preparing required reports and documentation.
  • Record all correspondence received in register on a regular basis.
  • Carry out other related duties as and when assigned by the Project Coordinator.
Educational Requirements :
  • Bachelor Degree in commerce (B.COM) /M.com from any reputed University.
Experience Requirements :
  • At least 3 year(s)
Additional Requirements :
  • Age at most 40 years
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • At least 3 years of working experience in accounts position is preferable.
  • Must have Practical Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and Email communication is must.
  • Willingly travel in the project areas when needed.
