Formulate and execute sourcing plan and strategies for all Direct & Indirect Materials, outsource finished goods with best price, credit terms, quality, delivery lead time and return policies for achieving best buy.
Negotiate with suppliers relating to price, credit terms, quality, on time delivery and return policies for achieving best buy.
Ensure availability, right price, and quality in line of outcome from supply demand process.
Establish and maintain committed and reliable base of local and foreign suppliers for any purchase to optimize total cost and for future business process in line with procurement policy.
To explore new suppliers, vendors to enhance the product quality & services.
Ensure suppliers’ assessment and development process in place and executed to optimize consistency of Quality and Service.
Work closely with purchasing and procuring processes to ensure that materials and goods are procured, stored and distributed as per predefined policy guidelines.
Provide periodic reporting for management on purchasing, controls and processes.
Maintain proper correspondents with factory, buyer, shipping line, Transport, C&F, Bank and other concerned offices.
Regularly communicate with store head & transport people for cargo loading & delivery.
To Ensure NOC, BL, Insurance papers are forwarded to C&F agent on due time to release the goods
To prepare L/C opening application and submit it to the bank for opening L/C
To check & ensure all relevant documents / papers are required for opening the L/C
To coordinate with the bank if any amendment in L/C is required to release the goods
Any other job assigned by the Management from time to time.
Educational Requirements :
Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management
Preferred Professional Certification: Supply Chain Management
Experience Requirements :
5 to 7 year(s)
