Job Responsibilities :
  • Conduct awareness programs among employees to ensure all rules and regulations, policies and procedures, discipline, welfare, and compliance related issues.
  • Ensure that all welfare activities are carried out in accordance with Bangladesh Labor Law-2006 and Labor Rules 2015.
  • To establish effective communication between management and workers, and hold consultations with a view to maintain harmonious relations between management and workers.
  • To look after the provision of amenities such as dining, adequate toilet facilities, drinking water, etc.
  • Conduct training on buyers' COC, workers’ rights and responsibilities, occupational health and safety, machine guards, use of PPE, etc.
  • Checking complaint/suggestion boxes to share the notes, if any, with the concerned management.
  • Encourage and provide them with appreciation and participation in sports, games, and social and cultural events.
  • Take special care of pregnant workers, manage daycare centers, and complain boxes and take action accordingly.
  • Counsel workers to ensure health and safety-related issues are addressed and motivate them to maintain hygiene in the workplace.
  • Should have experience with the Higg Index-Facility Social Labor Module (FSLM) CAF Version 1.4.
  • Maintain up-to-date databases, records, logs, and registers for different areas of counseling and submit reports to the management on a regular basis.
  • Conduct orientation for new employees.
  • Counsel the absent workers to reduce absenteeism as well as to ensure health and safety-related issues are addressed and motivate them to maintain hygiene in the workplace.
  • Look after occupational health and safety issues for the assigned area.
  • Encourage and motivate workers for better performance.
Educational Requirements :
  • Minimum Graduation/ BBA / MBA in Human Resource Management from any reputed university.
Experience Requirements :
  • 2 to 4 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Counseling, Labour Welfare, Training
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
Additional Requirements :
  • Age 22 to 30 years
  • Only females are allowed to apply
  • Good communication (written/verbal) & presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical & leadership ability and work as a strategic thinker.
  • Positive work ethic and result-oriented for assigned responsibilities.
  • Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives.
  • Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
