Job Responsibilities :
  • Prepare quotations in excel for clients, participate in the tender, perform all procurement activities to select the right vendor, and negotiate contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, quotation collection, negotiation, and comparison statements.
  • Organize and ensure all purchase/procurement of materials, equipment, and any other official goods following procedure/policy/Including LC procedure. Should have experience in the field of Import through L/C & T/T Freight Forwarding.
  • Have sound Knowledge of International and Local laws regarding imports to Bangladesh. Adequate Knowledge about H.S. Code, L/C Clauses, PSI, Customs and bonded warehouse matter, Custom Audit, Bill of Lading and other shipping documents, Certificate of Origin and undertaking, Bond License, Vessel Schedule, Invoice, packing list, etc.
  • To ensure all commercial activities (e.g. PI collection, L/C Open, L/C amendment, L/C retirement, and conditions according to Bangladesh Bank rules & regulations, shipment conditions, communication with parties, payment realization, etc.) through overseas communications.
  • Must have good knowledge about imports through LC and TT. Check documents required at different levels (e.g. Commercial invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Delivery Challan / Truck Receipt, Technical Literature, Country of Origin, other certificates) and present shipping documents to respective customs stations on time. Communicate with Bond License, Customs, C&F, Trade Bodies, Banks, Shipping Line, Insurance Companies, VAT department, production department, C&F, EPB, Customs, Shipping Line, Freight forwarders, Transport Agents & other statutory authorities to ensure delivery of machine/ goods from customs and port authority.
  • Strong correspondence capability over the internet and e-mail is a must in English.
  • Any other tasks can be assigned by the Management
Educational Requirements :
  • Honors/ BBA/ Masters/ MBA in Supply Chain, Accounting, Commercial/ Engineering on any relevant background
Experience Requirements :
  • 2 to 3 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Commercial/ Purchase, Communication, Computer skill, Market Research
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Trading or Export/Import
Additional Requirements :
  • Age at least 28 years
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • Skills Required: Supply Chain Management skills, Good Communication skills, Negotiation skills, Highly Proactive, Quick Learner
  • IT practical knowledge in MS-World, Excel, PowerPoint, accounting software, and email
  • Good typing skills both in English and Bengali
