Job Responsibilities :
  • Ensuring the operation meets requirements of the applicable ASME B30.5 volume. Monitor ship to shore interface during loading / discharge / bunkering of barge/ vessel operation whilst alongside the Jetty.
  • Ensuring the crane meets inspection requirements prior to initial use & also halting crane operations if alerted to an unsafe condition.
  • Pre-arrival and post departure checking and cleaning up of jetty area to maintain good housekeeping.
  • Ensuring crane operations are coordinated with other jobsite activities and maintain reporting cards for Jetty Inspection and reporting all observations of defects at the Jetty.
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient manner minimizing any potential hazards including environmental damage.
  • Drawing samples and calculating quantity on board before initializing discharge and obtain necessary clearance from the shore.
  • Ensuring workers understand their responsibilities and the associated hazards.
  • Appointing signal people and ensuring they meet the applicable requirements.
  • Maintain good communication interface between the Jetty and tank farm during product receipts.
  • Attend to other duties/task as may be assigned.
Educational Requirements :
  • Retired from Armed Forces in rank of Lt. Colonel, Major or Colonel. (Age up to 50 Years)
  • Vast experience (3 to 5 Years) in administration, Operation and Engineering Core.
  • Ability to control multiple tasks at the project site effectively in the relevant field.
Experience Requirements :
  • 3 to 5 year(s)
Additional Requirements :
  • Age 45 to 55 years
