We are a group of companies doing business mostly in textile and dyeing sector having a few sister concerns. We are looking for Head of Commercial department.
- Reorganize the commercial function and department of the group to deliver expected performance
- Communicate with relevant authorities both locally and internationally in order to ensure smooth delivery of imported and local products
- Manage all activities relating to issuance of PI, submission of documents to the customers, seeking acceptance, obtaining bank maturity, L/C opening proposals, amendments/corrections, follow-up import shipments
- Make necessary correspondences with foreign and local suppliers
- Coordinate, monitor and manage LC related documentation complying with foreign exchange regulations
- Follow-up-import to take delivery from respective ports smoothly without incurring any detentions/demurrage
- Maintain all kinds of correspondence with related banks and respective agencies as and when required
- Maintain relationships and coordinate with Govt. Officials, C&F Agents, Banks, Freight Forwarders, and Transport for Export & Import purposes, etc.
- Negotiate with the banks for obtaining competitive rate of interest/exchange rate for Import and Export.
- Obtain/renew all licenses (e.g. ERC, IRC, Trade License, TIN, VAT, EPB and BTMA).
- Ensure documents submission to respective customs stations on time.
- Provide routine and non-routine reporting to meet various requirements of Management
- Lead the team and evaluate their performance to meet department objectives
- Handle other responsibilities and projects, as assigned.
Educational Requirements :
- Masters degree in any discipline (preferably in commerce discipline)

- Age 40 to 55 years
- The applicants should have experience in commercial function preferably in following business sector (s):
- Textile, Dyeing, Garments
- Strong communication skill both in Bangla and English, team player and result oriented
- Strong sense of responsibility to accomplish all assigned tasks
