Job Responsibilities :
  • Oversee all technology operations (Network security and software development) and evaluate them according to established goals.
  • Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by the upper management.
  • Analyse the requirements of all departments tom determine their technology needs.
  • Design and develop software for business operation.
  • Purchase efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software.
  • Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
  • Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report upper management.
  • Coordinate IT staff and supervise them to provide guidance.
  • Control budget and report on expenditure.
  • Assist in building relationship with vendors and creating cost efficient contracts.
  • Cary out other responsibilities assigned by the management.
Educational Requirements :
  • BSc in computer science, engineering or relevant field; MSc will be a plus
Experience Requirements :
Additional Requirements :
  • Required Qualification and Experience:
  • At least 2 years' experience as head of IT or similar role preferably in life insurance
  • Sound understanding of web application and network security
  • Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
  • Experience in controlling information technology budget
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication ability
  • Technical skills:
  • At least 2+ years experience of relevant work experience
  • At least 2+ experience on .NET and MSSQL, Modern JavaScript
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership position managing IT infrastructure
  • Other Skills & Qualities:
  • Leadership, interpersonal skill is needed
  • Able to work independently with ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Should possess good communication and Interpersonal skills.
  • Be an enthusiastic, honest and forward thinker
  • 'Can do' - positive attitude and proactive
