The HR Business Partner – Merchandising Team will be accountable to provide dedicated HR support to the Merchandising teams of the company to ensure higher retention, increase job satisfaction and engagement, achieve greater performance, and reduce grievances. The incumbent will partner with the Merchandising teams with the Human Resources team to facilitate the implantation of strategies regarding Leadership, Culture, Reward, Learning and Talent as well as enable the team to own the people agenda.

- Act as the central point of contact from the HR team for the Merchandising team members
- Contribute to the execution of HR strategies with core focus on the Merchandising function across all Business Units
- Partner in manpower planning with the focus on the maintenance of the talent matrix to ensure that no resource gap is happening in Merchandising teams
- Consult with Business Unit Heads, Team Managers, In-Line Supervisors, and team members to identify and analyze learning needs, and develop the respective Business Unit’s learning plans for their Merchandising teams
- Fully deliver all HR interventions to the function through professional execution of HR strategies and processes (i.e., Recruitment & Selection, Performance Management, Cultural Initiatives, Employee Separations, Grievances, etc.)
- Spearhead the induction/onboarding of new recruits of Merchandising team members
- As a supporting member from HR, boost morale for the Merchandising team in achieving the deliverables of functional agreements and KPIs
- Drive the talent review process for the Merchandising department to ensure the right fit for the right roles while aligning with the personnel budgets
- Collaborate with the Merchandising team to develop processes and ensure the implementation of HR practices where applicable
- Continuously develop business awareness through active participation in functional meetings, projects, discussions, etc., to ensure HR is contributing to the respective functionality
- Develop internal trainer pool for the functional related training programs
Educational Requirements :
- Graduate in Human Resource Management or relevant degree from a reputed university
Experience Requirements :

- At least 5 years’ experience as HRBP or in the Human Resources department in similar role in Factory setting or Buying Office in the Apparel industry
- Should have good understanding of the Merchandising function within the Apparel Industry.
- Should have adept understanding of Labor Law and employment regulations
- Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- High quality relationship management, influencing, mediating skills
- Strategic thinking, planning and analysis skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to support the management of change
- Presence and credibility to work with the executive team and senior colleagues across the ZXY
- Highly organized and able to manage a broad portfolio of activities
- High quality personal governance and commitment to organizational values
- Should be well-groomed, smart, and energetic
- Strong presentation and delivery skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
- Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English
- IT proficiency - advance level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
