- 1. Processes company's payroll every pay period
- 2. Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data.
- 3. Computes employee take-home pay based on-time records, benefits, and taxes
- 4. Answers staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records
- 5. Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a computer system.
- 6. Receives and coordinates requests for leave and other absences.
- 7. Handles changes in exemptions, job status, and job titles.
- 8. Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law.
- 9. Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records.
- 10. Honors confidentiality of employees' pay records.
- 11. Completes payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review.
- 12. Receive approval from upper management for payments when needed.
- 13. Determines employees' tax obligations by calculating taxable income as well as reviewing the Income Tax Act 1984 and necessary amendments.
- 14. Performs the distribution of salaries through the issuance of paper checks or direct transfers to employees' bank accounts
Educational Requirements :
- Bachelor degree in any discipline
Experience Requirements :
- 1 to 3 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
HR and Payroll

- Age 20 to 35 years
