To be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, managing the stock levels and giving out the materials from the stock.
To prepare the inventories, maintaining the stock records, using computerized systems for entering the records and is accountable for checking the supply invoices with the purchase orders.
To make sure to get rid of the surplus or obsolete stock.
To maintain record of receipts as well as issuance of items that are going out of the store so as to ensure accuracy and completeness
To oversee that the arrangement of goods has been done in an orderly system within the stock location system. Ensure that the stocks stay physically protected in the store.
To conduct periodical physical count to verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing products at the store and prepare on time report to the authority.
To maintain stock register and all related work in an organized manner with proper documentation.
To analyze data to anticipate future needs
To monitor inventory stock levels and ensure the stock level is sufficient for all operational needs.
To receive the materials supplied by the vendor as per the purchase order placed by the procurement Department.
To ensure periodical stock verification and correctness of stock at all times.
To issue materials to the departments as per approved user requisitions.
To take action for disposal of expired stock as per approved procedure.
To prepare monthly reports on adjustments to inventories, spoilt or damaged stock
To record and remove expired/ spoiled products accurately from the shelves for disposal or return.
To maintain goods incoming & outgoing procedure as per company policy.
To ensure stocks are maintain properly stored prevent from damage, loss and pilferage.
To maintain month end store position in quantity and cost amount.
To post detail of receipt and dispatch transactions and ensure integrity of the inventory management system
To provide information on current stock and order to provide justification for reordering
To perform end of the day inventory reconciliation, identify discrepancies, and resolved in time
To maintain electronic inventory management database.
To prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments
To analyze daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
To Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimise inventory control procedures.
To analyze different suppliers to obtain the best cost-effective deals.
Any other tasks assigned by management as and when required.
Educational Requirements :
Master’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience Requirements :
3 to 5 year(s)
Additional Requirements :
Age 30 to 35 years
3-5 years’ experience in stores/inventory management department.
Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques
Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
