Job Responsibilities :
  • Your Duties & Responsibilities as a Logistics Team Leader Asia:
  • Must have sound shipping operation knowledge about RMG sector.
  • Must have sufficient knowledge in Import, export, procurement, account & Finance with Banking and other related task of Commercial Department in any reputed RMG sector
  • Should have clear knowledge of current rules & regulations of customs UPDC-600, HS code & Incoterms -2010/2020.
  • Must be experience & capable to lead a large logistic team located in Asia
  • Supervise closely APAC Logistics Team and follow up and coordinate with team to accomplish task on time on daily basis
  • Supervise daily operations, monitoring KPIs to ensure performance of forwarders
  • Define, develop, improve, and maintain global origin logistics processes
  • Ensure optimal availability on products, service and cost, maintaining logistics process across all origins in Asia
  • Origin process alignment among LSPs
  • Establish internal policies and guidelines (e.g., Origin SOP, Carrier SOP, General Shipping Instruction, etc.) and ensure follow-up of team and suppliers
  • Validate and create transparency of costs by coordinating with finance
  • Leading the teams in Asia to ensure their service level meets the expectations
  • Coordinate with Buyers / Merchandisers / Finance / Import Manager/Warehouse Manager/ Suppliers / Forwarder to make smooth cargo movement operation from Asia
  • Attend query from suppliers in term of Payment, LC or import related issues
  • Must have ability to define and analyze bottleneck and solve it.
Educational Requirements :
  • Bachelor's Degree/ Master's Degree in any discipline
Experience Requirements :
  • 5 to 7 year(s)
Additional Requirements :
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years' experience in same position
  • Experience at European Liaison Office or buying house will be an advantage
  • Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame.
  • Good in planning and analytical skills.
  • Must be cooperative and able to work in a team as well as independently in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent English knowledge written and verbally both
  • Must have good knowledge & skills in computing specially on MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and internet proficiency
  • Candidate should be self-motivated and should have positive attitude, solution orientate mindset to sustain the nice Tally Weijl office environment
  • Must show Commitment and loyalty to the company
