Responsible for Purchasing and Cost estimation activities for the organization.
Implementing and maintaining the standard purchasing process, establish purchase policy and strategy with a view to enhance savings and reduce waste. Devising and using fruitful sourcing strategies.
Make sure all the requisite and approved commodities availability as per the specification.
Develop a purchasing & material sourcing policy, set a standard lead time for delivering to the end consumer.
Initiate and develop creative and innovative procurement processes.
Negotiate contract terms with key suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders if appropriate.
Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
Develop, implement and maintain a supplier relationship and evaluation process to measure effective supplier performance and compliance.
Conducting market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.
Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of requirement specifications and expectations of the company.
Ensure compliance in all procure-to-pay processes & procurement rights.
Achieve the set procurement target in coordination with team members.
Onboard and develop value-added suppliers and nurture partnerships.
Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
Preparing detail reports on procurement and deliveries.
Educational Requirements :
Bachelor degree in any discipline
