Work closely with the “Store” section to provide maximum service and maintain inventory record as well
Assists In charge of Purchase department to maintain Inventory System updated.
Carry out procurement tasks for goods and services, including obtaining vendor quotes, drafting purchase orders and vendor agreements;
Assist with the review and processing procurement requests;
Assist in identifying vendors for goods and services and communicate with vendors as needed;
Conducts regular market survey of routine supplies;
Help update the activity’s procurement tracker;
Assist with processing service contracts, leases, rental agreements, etc.;
Help coordinate logistics and travel arrangements for staffs;
Assist in the preparation of the vehicle planning and movement schedule;
Provide procurement and logistical support to trainings, workshops, and meetings;
Provide procurement and logistical support to field-based staff;
Help maintain complete records and filing system of all procurement transactions;
Help coordinate, monitor, and document the delivery of goods/services received;
Assist with inventory control and management, including accurate and regular updates to the activity’s asset list and daily/ monthly/ yearly inventory/stock reports;
Assist with asset disposal management as needed;
Assist with general administrative and activity-related duties as assigned;
Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Preparing quarterly budget, forecasting demand and safety stock calculation.
Tacking and maintaining records of requirements.
Placing purchase order and tracking delivery to make it done on time.
Invoice validation, processing, and submitting to finance department after taking approval from management.
Process all type of bills, petty cash, ensure submission of bill and dispatch of cheque to the customer properly.
Update internal & external documents.
Prepare purchase plans for the purchase of raw materials, supplies, merchandise, and services
Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management
Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports
Monitoring inventory levels and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
Educational Requirements :
Bachelors from any recognize university. (Qualification is relaxed for highly deserving candidate)
Experience Requirements :
At least 3 year(s)
Additional Requirements :
At least 03 years in similar role.
Should have strong communication and presentation skills, both written and oral English.
Strong leadership ability and work as a strategic thinker.
Positive work ethics and result oriented for assigned responsibilities.
Self-driven to work under pressure and take new initiatives.
Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good team work.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Computer knowledge (MS Office suite, English & Bangla Typing)
The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Purchase/ Procurement, Supply Chain
Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a purchasing/procurement environment
Experience in the same sector (hospitality, services, retail) is desirable but not essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. E.g. Word, Excel, Outlook
Ability and desire to work effectively with cross functional teams
Must be able to work under strict and competing deadlines
