- Assist in executing overall purchase requirements of the company and ensure on time delivery of products
- Assist in vendor selection/enlistment through comparative study. Negotiate with vendors for getting products at a reasonable, market competitive prices
- Prepare purchase order & all kinds of bills of purchase and complete necessary procedures within stipulated time frame
- Ensure product specification in time of procurement to reduce the rejection of purchased items
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly & monthly reports and ensure on- time entry of all purchase records in ERP
- Recommend new ideas for improving the procurement process that is cost efficient for the department
Educational Requirements :
- Diploma in Mechanical engineering/ Mechatronics engineering from a reputed university; PGD in supply chain management will be preferred
Experience Requirements :
Additional Requirements :
- 1 to 3 year(s) experience in the procurement department of any Group of Companies
- Experience in feed mill equipment procurement will be preferred
- Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and using in-house ERP modules
- Able to multitask and work under pressure
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Bangla
