Association for Community Empowerment-ACE is a nonprofit organization in Bangladesh. We are aiming to develop a replicable integrated model for nutrition activities into the multiple social development programs for the Readymade Garments (RMG) workers in the factory and in their communities. This project is designed to improve workers` health, nutrition, and well-being. A key intervention is to demonstrate a participatory model of cooking healthy food in the community to change dietary behaviors. Also, create an opportunity to maintain a balanced diet for their daily life within their purchasing capacity. The project will contribute to improving the health, nutrition, and well-being of workers through developing a knowledge base, better access to nutrition, diet, hygiene and sanitation education, and creating market access through an inclusive business model.
ACE is inviting applications from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of program coordinator. The person will be required to manage, implement, plan, and coordinate program activities. Work to keep programs on schedule, within stated budgets, and generate reports. Provide assistance in writing project proposals, knowledge management, and correspondence with donors.
Educational Requirements :
Minimum Bachelor's degree with three years of experience in the successful implementation of a wide range of responsibilities in program implementation is vital. Relevant computer-operating skills and strong verbal and written Communication skills in English are mandatory. Willingness and ability to visit program sites; work with people from diverse backgrounds, and ability to work under pressure are considered general requirements for this position.
