    DASCOH Foundation is looking for a dynamic Program Coordinator for its “Young people at high schools strengthen women`s rights and inclusive governance in Bangladesh” project supported by NETZ Partnership for Development and Justice.
Job Responsibilities :
  • Provide proper supervision and management for all direct reports and oversee functioning of a strong, effective project team and also oversee project office activities to ensure the effective and efficient delivery and implementation of project activities.
  • Ensure proper formation of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) at village, union, upazila and district level, student forums and capacitating them on human rights specially gender equality and inclusive governance
  • Manage project activities, finances and other resources in line with DASCOH policy and donor requirement and also delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Provide conceptual and strategic guidance to the team members on human rights, women and girls rights, gender and identity based violence, inclusive governance and advocacy
  • Monitor and ensure quality standard in implementation of the planned activities in time of the project.
  • Initiate appropriate steps for responding the immediate needs to accomplish project objectives.
  • Ensure optimum and appropriate use of project resources.
  • Assist in preparing and signing of various legal documents with stakeholders.
  • Prepare periodical outcome report of the project.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Lead administrative and financial management related issues of the project
  • Organize and facilitate local and regional workshop and democratic dialogue with CSOs young HRDS and public authorities on human rights and inclusive governance.
  • Organize in-country joint exposure visit of CSOs and Local Authorities( Las)
  • Develop and deliver progress reports required documentation, and presentations. Ensure project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Build, develop and grow any organisational relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Establish formal or non-formal linkage/network with Government department and other organizations through repeated interaction.
  • Share project outcomes and organizational objectives with the stakeholder in formal meeting.
  • Lead the project team in a manner to reduce the early marriage, violence against women, domestic violence and ensure human rights, women’s rights and child rights.
Educational Requirements :
  • Post graduate degree in Social Science or any other relevant discipline.
Experience Requirements :
  • At least 5 year(s)
Additional Requirements :
  • Age at most 50 years
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • Sound background of project management;
  • Proven project and staff management skills with a good track record;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Excellent in team work, networking and communication;
  • Sound knowledge on human rights, women’s rights, inclusive governance and gender based violence, community management, grievance handling;
  • High level of professional English writing with computer literacy;
  • Minimum 05 years experience of managing NGO program, holding similar position including M&E & budgeting;
  • Experience of managing budgets to deliver with greater efficiency and effectiveness, and of implementation of financial control.
