JNUS is a community-based, women-led organization. The vision of JNUS is to bring an end to all forms of violence and discrimination against women, irrespective of gender, race, religion and culture. JNUS regularly undertakes advocacy works, dialogues and promotes network building with the government, development partners, civil society, media, grassroots people and other relevant stakeholders. JNUS is searching for candidates to fill the role of project officer.
Prepare monthly work plan, strategies and methodologies in accordance with project design and donor agreement;
Conduct Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), surveys as per project needs and production of the first draft of the reports.
Analyze data gathered from various sources and report to the line manager.
Ensure engagement of the beneficiaries, community actors, local officials and other stakeholders in undertaking training, workshops, consultation meetings, etc.;
Perform filed work to ensure effective, efficient and timely implementation of project activities;
Support in developing capacity building materials for training based on the needs of the organization, community actor and other stakeholders
Smooth working relation with local leaders, NGOs, local government bodies and other stakeholders;
Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as and when required and assigned by the authority;
Responsible for gathering data from field sources and inform update on challenges, lesson learned and risk related to community engagement and resilience.
Promote organizational learning by ensuring timely and quality project reports and updates the higher management accordingly.
Educational Requirements :
Master of Social Science (MSS) in Social Science, Gender Studies, Public Administration, Economics, International Relations or relevant discipline.
Skills Required: Data Analysis, kobo, Microsoft Excel, Reporting and Documentation
Experience Requirements :
2 to 3 year(s)

Excellent facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills.
Sound knowledge and familiarity with ICT applications.
Having mentality to stay in project areas.
Willingness to work with under pressure and travel.
