Duration of Job: 2.5 months (extendable/transferable to other projects subject to availability of funds and performance).
Work Station: Research sites are located in all divisions of Bangladesh. Any specific research assistant does not need to work in more than two divisions.
Contribute to data collection tool development, e.g., suggest items, format language, translate, compose and print
Collect quantitative data, e.g., assist in preparing sample frame, assist in scheduling data collection, implementing the consenting process, collect, enter and upload data from randomly selected participants as per standard operating procedure (SOP)
Assist in organizing local events, e.g., community sensitization meetings, weekly staff meetings, etc
Calibrate and maintain equipment and devices
Submit travel and other bills as per instruction
Attend periodic standardization/refresher training
Carry out any other duties related to the research project as requested by the supervisor
Educational Requirements :
Bachelors in any discipline from a reputed university (preferably in social science/Life Science/Nutrition/Anthropology)

Additional Requirements :
Previous experiences in quantitative data collection using tablet computers
Previous experience in anthropometry and blood pressure measurement
Good communication and writing skills in Bangla
Willing to stay work in rural areas
