• Lead the design and implementation of qualitative social science research in Khulna, closely aligned with REACH research priorities to understand water security inequalities.
• Provide logistical support of qualitative research led by researchers at the University of Oxford, including hiring and training data collectors, facilitating field work, and supervising data transcription and translation.
• Work closely with other qualitative and quantitative researchers based at BUET, Oxford, and in Ethiopia and Kenya, to ensure alignment of research methodologies across sites.
• Produce high quality written outputs for publication in academic journals as lead author and co-author, along with policy briefs and/blogs for knowledge sharing.
• Engage with government stakeholders and development partners to facilitate REACH's agenda of producing impacts.
• Independently represent REACH at academic and policy conferences and meetings, and lead seminars to disseminate research findings.

• Excellent written and communication skills in both English and Bangla, including scientific writing for publication, professional presentation skills, and general ability to represent the research team.
• Proven experience in qualitative data collection and analysis
• Willingness to travel to and stay in Khulna to conduct extensive fieldwork 3.2 Desirable
• Publication records commensurate with career stage
• Work experience in academic or development settings
• Experience using qualitative data analysis software such as NVivo, MAXQDA, ATLAS.ti or similar tools.
