- Efficient and effective working and communication within OSOs and with HQ functions.
- Coordinate with Team Merchandising Manager, OSO Management and Production Managers in Head office (hereinafter - HO) for orders allocation in Bangladesh.
- Monitoring bulk production, and activities of GS and Materials suppliers both to ensure their delivery and collaborate with them if an issue arises. Escalate and overview to BD & HQ management. Prepare a tracking report of what problems are encountered with CAP.
- Coordinate with BD GS during the sampling process and ensure timely submission from 1st samples to PP samples and any requested samples.
- Follow-up with GS timely update of cost sheets.
- Support the "Buy Ready "with all GS and report to HQ PM (Strike-off, non-nominated trims).
- Prepare a file for each supplier with all approvals in PPC & PPS and hand it over to the QA team. Make sure that all approvals have been filed & QA has a complete document that may not delay the inspection that may cause a delay of shipment.
- Coordinate with GS & QA for all types of inspections, to meet the standard requirement to maintain proper inspections with all Suppliers.
- Track fabric/trim development, approval, colour approval up to grieve ready, dyed fabric ready/in house and trims ready/in house.
- Follow up with GS & ensure timely booking to TS/FS & maintaining agreed terms with each other.
- Ensure on-time in full ex-factory/delivery for samples and bulk.
- Assist & support HQ in the developing Sourcing strategies of GS, based on adequate SWOT analysis of the existing supply base, monitoring and improving the KPI performance rating of the supplier in terms of quality, capabilities, capacity, service orientation, delivery and pricing in collaboration with regional management.
- Assist to Team Merchandising Manager with advance capacity planning and order management to ensure product performance. Work and analyze supplier's capacity after 1FC, 2FC and Final order placement and report to HQ as Capacity Management (before the capacity allocation). Proactively foresee potential delivery problems with suppliers, both factories and material supply.
- Support the introduction of new SM processes, procedures and training to achieve accurate export documentation.
- Provide update status to Team Merchandising Manager through the weekly report. Assist preparation & schedule of seasonal meetings & reports and the bulk performance analysis and action plan.
- Coordinate with Import and Logistics Department and support HQ on claim negotiation with all Suppliers. (End of the season).
- Other works assigned by the manager.
Educational Requirements :
- Bachelor degree in any discipline, Masters degree in any discipline
- Preferable BSc/MSc in Textile Engineering from a reputed University.
- Skills Required: Communication in English, Good Computer Skills, Merchandising
