Ensure preparing all import related documents on time.
Follow up with Bank for LC Open, Payment and Documents Collection etc.
Communicate with the C & F Agent.
Communicate with the Insurance Company.
Follow up with Foreign Supplier & Shipment Schedule.
Follow up work with Inventory Department.
Performing necessary and import tasks as instructed by Management.
Handle Shipping line and transport-related concern authorities for smooth and timely delivery of goods and execution of import procedures;
Present shipping documents to respective custom stations on time for import clearance;
Collect quotations against specific freight forwarders and prepare a comparative statement for specific FOB items.
Liaison with Bank, Shipping Line, Forwarding Agents and other organizations related to import activities.
Preparing L/C Closing statement & report to management.
Ensure preparing and renewal all kinds of Company Certificates from government authorities. (IRC, BIN, necessary mushak etc.)
Maintain cooperation with C&F agent, Submit documents to C&F agent as well as customs department to ensure the smooth clearance of consignments.
Should have mentality ability to work under pressure, should be flexible for office time & working long hour & any other task assigned by the superior.
Maintain effective communication with Finance, audit and signing authority to ensure smooth SCM operation.
Educational Requirements :
B.Sc in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/IPE/Chemical) or Business graduate from any Public or reputed Private University with distinctive academic background.
Post graduate diploma in SCM will be an added advantage.

3 to 6 year(s)

Sound knowledge on procuring materials/parts for commercial vehicles

Good command in MS Office
Must have the mindset to work under pressure with positive attitude
