Social Marketing Company, a large well-reputed not-for-profit organization involved in the implementation of health and family planning program throughout the country, wishes to recruit the following position. The Company is implementing a project `Alliance for Combating TB in Bangladesh (ACTB)` to fight against TB in response to USAID`s local organizations network (LON) project in different parts of the country. The company seeks a talented and aspiring candidate who would lead the project financial team and meaningfully contribute to the efforts to attaining the project goal. The incumbent will be recruited initially for two years which may be extended upon availability of fund and satisfactory performance.

Job Responsibilities :
    The incumbent will be responsible for project budget, expenditure, documentation of financial transaction, financial control in line with donor and audit compliance, financial reporting, personnel management of the project staffs, logistic and administrative services for managing the project at HQs and field office level.
Educational Requirements :
  • Must have a Master degree in Finance/Accounting or MBA major in Finance or Master degree in Social Science. Candidates who have completed CA/ACCA course will be given preference.
Experience Requirements :
  • At least 5 year(s)
Additional Requirements :
  • Age at most 50 years
  • Preferably 5 years' relevant experience especially donor funded program (e.g USAID) or agency will be given preference; working experience in grants and compliance frame will be an added value.
  • Age preferably below 50 years.
  • Possesses very good skills in preparing financial report, grants management, financial control and monitoring, and compliances. Excellent documentation, communication, report writing and presentation skills. Skills in private sector engagement in public health related project implementation.
  • Possesses high level of integrity and excellent operating skills in MS Office application suite and relevant accounting software; skills in interpersonal relationship, and working in team approach.
  • Coordination and communication skills with implementing partners, vendors and various stakeholders.
  • Hard working and ability to work under pressure.
