Give qualified advisory services to the customers to their technical questions/queries.
Standard and advance troubleshooting of medium speed engines – conventional/dual fuel/gas engines in accordance with the specified guidelines at site and Workshop.
Overall supervision responsibility of all electrical work activities and people at site.
Implement standard and all HSE policies and procedures according to MAN ES standards and guidelines by using various tools.
Execute an LMRA (Last Minute Risk Analysis) on location before starting work.
Report incidents, accidents and near-misses according to procedures.
Execute functional tests according to functional description of power plant and marine systems and their components – module/pump/heat exchanger/electrical cabinet etc.
Identify spare parts requirements for electrical systems, special tools, check commissioned spare parts for completeness, allocation and correctness.
Collect technical data such as work procedures, drawings, spare parts, materials etc.
Determine assembly procedures on site in accordance with the specified work cards/documents.
Documentation of service, repair or maintenance activities.
Reporting e.g., troubleshooting, service or repair report, weekly report, progress report, scheduling etc.
Handover to customer (engine/system/equipment).
Attend to breakdown of customer’s machines.
Work on new machine installation.
Conduct inspections to verify the condition and potential problems.
Analyze operation data and make suggestions for improvement.
Support the findings at site e.g., advise on necessary things to do, on spare parts according to the condition/picture of those.
Exchange information constantly and participate in further training if necessary.
Process/follow up warranty claims.
Make sure that a time sheet is filled out and signed by the customer’s representative after a field service job.
Educational Requirements :
Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in EEE
Experience Requirements :
At least 8 year(s)

Studies with a focus on engineering (mechanical/electrical) or longtime professional experience.
Experience in servicing, repair and maintenance of engines and power plant systems.
Analytical skills, assertiveness and flexibility.
Willingness to travel (local and international – short and long term).
Fluency in spoken and written English. Additional languages are considered as plus.
High capacity for team work and communication.
