Senior SQA Automation Engineer (Selenium and Java/JavaScript)

EchoLogyx Ltd.

  • Would need to have at least 4 years of experience. In this role, you will be responsible for estimation, design, development and maintenance of functional and regression test automation scripts.
  • You must be experienced in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordination. As the Senior Selenium Automation Engineer, you must be proficient in Selenium and JavaScript.
  • You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to handle multiple projects and to meet project deadlines. For this role, you require knowledge and experience in software quality assurance and the ability to work well with both business clients and technical teams.

Job Responsibilities :
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium.
  • Enhance existing automation framework developed in Selenium.
  • Maintain traceability of functional requirements/Test Cases to automation test scripts.
  • Develop automation test strategy and approach.
  • Manage automation activities and provide status to stakeholders on accessing overall progress and completion.
  • Maintain well organized records of test results and generate historical analysis of test results.
  • Support overall QA activities such as development of Test Approach, Test Cases, and manual test execution as needed.
  • Works closely with application development and other technical teams to, Understand how changes in the software product affect maintenance of test scripts.
  • Works with technical resources to discuss and troubleshoot issues.
  • Works with business resources to understand purpose and concept for software features.
Educational Requirements :
  • B.Sc or M.Sc in Computer Science or related subject from reputed university.
Experience Requirements :
  • At least 4 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): QA Automation, QA Testing, Quality Assurance/ Quality Control, Software QA, SQA
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): E-commerce, Software Company
Additional Requirements :
  • Age 25 to 35 years
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
  • Keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence

  • Be open to receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvements
  • Excellent English verbal communication skills.
