• Responsible to manage all commercial activities (e.g. issuance of PI, L/C available, amendment/correction, shipment, negotiation with buyers and sellers, payment realization, release, etc.
• Handle Shipping line and transport-related concern authorities for smooth and timely delivery of goods and execution of import & export procedures.
• Checking & controlling PI & other invoices, packing lists & other related documents for exporting/importing goods/services.
• Present shipping documents to respective buyers' counter on time.
• Custom handling, Export clearance & documentation.
• Collect quotations against specific freight forwarders and prepare a comparative statement for specific exportable items.
• Preparing all export documents as per buyer's requirement and following up on export independently for buyers.
• Ensure preparing all export documents on time.
• Ensure preparation and renewal of all kinds of Company Certificates from government authorities.
• Liaison with Bank, EPB, Shipping Line, Forwarding Agents, and other organizations related to export and import documentation.
• Having sound knowledge of Clearing & Forwarding (C&F), Customs Bond rules & regulations, etc.
• Follow up on Export payment and report to management, If found any delayed payment, Push to buyer release.
• Preparing L/C Closing statement & report to management.
• Must be experienced in Export-Import and Banking & Other related activities.
• Should have Clear knowledge of current rules & regulations of Customs, Incoterms, and HS Code.
• Ensure handing over relevant documents to Operations to transport goods and materials to and from ports.
• Overseeing the objectives and implementation of all commercial strategies.
• Ensure a constant update of the vendor list, and new potential suppliers, and conduct strong communication with them.
• Co-ordinate with the freight forwarder, Shipping agent and handle L/C both in local & foreign
• Correspondence with local and foreign banks.
• Bring in the potential risks of the deal associated with commercial/legal, regulator, taxation, billing, payment, project implementation & associated penalty terms and propose various risk mitigation options.
• Maintain proper liaison with concerned agencies, trade bodies, banks, shipping lines, C&F agents, transport agents, insurance companies, Customs, Bond, VAT departments, etc.
• Obtain/renew all licenses (e.g. ERC, IRC, Trade License, TIN, VAT, EPB, and Fire License.
• Closely follow up on all commercial processes execute in a timely and cost-effectively.
• Any other job assigned from time to time by the Management.
