We are looking for a reliable BOQ and Budgeting Engineer for construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be responsible for BOQ, budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects.
- Manage project activities like execution, Micro Scheduling & planning as per the Master schedule advised by Head of QA & Engineering and his team in Head Office, including value engineering as appropriately required.
- Prepare BOQ, high level budget etc. according to the Architectural and Structural design.
- Prepare Tender documents and submission etc. according to the Architectural and Structural design.
- Ensure proper planning of the execution activities in line with the construction strategy, timely execution and finishing of all services activities like HVAC, plumbing etc as may be required to meet the time lines.
- Must be capable in proper planning and preparation of Master work program based on CPM.
- Enforce physical controls, contracts control provisions in line with the systems and procedures of the company.
- Monitoring and guiding of project in-charge for proper implementation of project works and Performing regular projects visit to ensure excellent quality of product, on time handover within limited budget and to make solution of the pending decisions.
- Review and interpret proposed designs, architecture drawings & building specifications and ensure execution of the project as designed and planned.
- Coordinate with Internal and external architects, structural consultants for designs clarification if any required.
- Liaison departments for compliance of norms with contractors for execution of the projects, on a proactive basis.
- Adopt and strictly enforce quality management principles and safety practices to meet company standards.
- To carry out other tasks as assigned by the management from time to time.
- Must be positive, proactive and hardworking in nature.
Educational Requirements :
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Engineering in Civil Engineering
- Skills Required: Computer skill, MS Office, Strong communication skills
