The job holder communicates with user departments, suppliers, commercial, accounts to ensure the availability of required materials without any delay. S/he remains up to date with the market price, analyses market data, prepare a comparative statement in order to ensure budgetary control. Good purchase planning ability makes this job successful.
Accountable for all kinds of local and foreign suppliers sourcing, procurement planning, budgeting, cost analyzing, goods procuring, and inventory monitoring.
Maintains a professional relationship with suppliers, Collects materials samples from the supplier, and conducts an effective market survey for cost-effective procurement.
Analyzing purchase requisitions, collection of quotations from a supplier based on the requirement, quotation evaluation, ensuring zero deviation in price negotiation, preparing a comparative statement for taking Management Approval.
Follow-up with suppliers on invoice disputes, Warranty Products, or returned materials.
Prepares monthly / quarterly / yearly inventory plans and ensures a proper warehouse management system.
Preparing monthly reports as per requirement.
Communicates with commercial regarding LC-related issues and also settles down cash payment issues in coordination with accounts and suppliers.
Educational Requirements :
Masters degree in any discipline
Any other Certification or training on supply chain management will get preference.
