The Sr. Manager for Human Resources Management will lead, direct and manage the day-to-day operations of the HR Department. He will be responsible for the development and monitoring of the processes related to recruitment, compliance, compensation, benefits, training and development.
Plan, develop and oversee the digital transformation of the entire employee recruitment and management systems, and departmental operations and relevant procedures
Recruitment and Retention:
Develop, implement and oversee the recruitment process
Guide the HR team to efficiently review job advertisements prior to posting, screen CVs, conduct telephone screenings, coordinate interview teams, participate in interviewing candidates and ensure that documentation is collected and recorded/filed
Consistently recruit excellent staff and ensure the organization is teeming with talented employees
Ensure job descriptions and exam questionnaires are up to date and compliant with all local and national regulations
Formulate and implement a sound employee onboarding and exit process
Compliance and Record Keeping:
Annually review the Employee Handbook recommending amendments needed due to changes in local conditions or labor laws
Manage timesheets for office, ensuring timely submission, approval, accuracy, and filing
Compensation and Benefits:
Monitor compensation - ensuring internal equity & compliance and benefits
Facilitate job analysis and update job descriptions
Payroll and Budget:
Coordinate with the Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly Payroll
Advise on appropriate staffing levels and assist in budget preparation
Review employee final payments for accuracy and compliance with labor laws
Training and Development And Performance Assessment:
Develop and implement a rigorous knowledge and skill development training strategy for all departments
Oversee, coordinate and implement the annual employee performance reviews and evaluations
Evaluate KPIs for employee performance in collaboration with the respective departments
Employee Relations:
Work with senior management to resolve employee relations issues pragmatically
Ensure excellent working environment through effective conflict resolution and directive counseling
Investigate employee relations issues & work to ensure human resources related decisions are consistent and fair
Educational Requirements :
Master's Degree in Human Resources/ English/ Psychology or related discipline,or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience Requirements :
5 to 10 year(s)
Additional Requirements :
Minimum of 5 to 10 years experience in the field of human resources
Must be familiar with country specific laws and regulations governing Human Resources
Ability to work with managers to assess complex issues pragmatically
Ability to define problems, establish facts, analyze situations and make decisions
Excellent written and verbal English and local language skills
Ability to interact with and lead employees at various levels
Strong understanding of confidentiality as it relates to Human Resources
Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite and ERP Software
Tech savvy with a keen interest in Workflow Automation and Software Development
In depth knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law 2006 and Amendment 2018
