We are looking for an enthusiastic `Technical Trainer` to train people in basic industrial maintenance. You will develop and conduct technical training programs and help others develop skills that will make them better professionals. Technical trainers must be knowledgeable in machine components and possess solid technical aptitude. Additionally, we expect you to be an excellent communicator, able to explain complex subjects in a clear and interesting way. The goal is to contribute to the development of people`s technical skills to meet organizational needs.
- Prepare and conduct technical training programs on machine components in groups or individually.
- Prepare training material and lesson plan.
- Determine course content according to training objectives.
- Collaborate with training team to assess, design, develop and maintain training programs and components.
- Communicate effectively and proactively with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and design team.
- Create instructor materials (course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids).
- With supervision, manage training resources (people and material) to ensure deliverables are completed in scope and on schedule.
- Keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues, logistics etc.
- Determine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements.
- Stay up-to-date on technical knowledge by attending education workshops, classes and reading publications.
Educational Requirements :
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Experience Requirements :
- 1 to 3 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Engineering Maintenance, Technical Training
Additional Requirements :
- Age at most 30 years
- Both males and females are allowed to apply
- Proven experience as technical trainer/maintenance engineer.
- Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects.
- Experience in designing technical course content.
- Working knowledge in MS Office.
- Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Certification such as CBT&A Level 4 (Assessor) in Machine Shop Practice will be an added advantage.
