  • Agrogoti Songstha is looking for dynamic Unit Account (UA) for its’ livelihood project titled ‘Strengthening the Resilience and Adaptive Capacity of Vulnerable Groups and Empowering Civil Society in the Context of Climate Change in Bangladesh ’ supported by NETZ Bangladesh. The details eligibility and requirement of the position as mentioned below;
  • Work Station: Khulna District (Koyra or Paikgacha) with frequent field visit
  • Job nature: Full time up to project period based on satisfactory performance

Job Responsibilities :
  • Financial management and accounting of the program
  • Record and post all daily transactions in the books of accounts/accounting software package through proper coding
  • Fund disbursement and payment
  • Prepare receipt, payment, journal voucher and monthly payment
  • Ensure all expenses made are reasonable, accurate and in compliance with cost principles procedures of the program
  • Ensure all expenses are verified in the validity and accuracy of reliable, reasonable and approved by a designated person before payment
  • Maintain miscellaneous expenditures, advances and income tax , VAT deductions, as required by the Management
  • Prepare relevant documents related to annual external audit
  • Prepare financial reports, budget variance analysis, ensure the fund disbursement issues and handle the funding process as per requirement
  • Payroll accounting and payment
  • Manage the NGO-AB & other regulatory bodies and external audit team.
  • Coaching support to the Unit Accountant
  • Willing to visit project location and able to drive motor bike
Educational Requirements :
  • Post Graduate from commerce faculty from any reputed university
Experience Requirements :
  • 2 to 3 year(s)
Additional Requirements :
  • Age at most 40 years
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • At least 2-3 years working experience in project accounting
  • Knowledge on accounting software
  • Knowledge on internal auditing
  • Able to prepare financial report
  • Adequate computer and IT skill (MS office)
  • Ability to work under pressure
