1. Supervise the School Administrative Support Unit (SASU)
The Vice Principal (Administration) will supervise the functions of the School Administrative Support Unit (SASU) which have the following units with a designated person in charge; (major activities of each unit is defined in the sub-annex section below)
FINANCE & ACCOUNTS UNIT:
The Vice Principal (Administration) in close consultation and collaboration with the Manager Finance
Supervise and monitor bank loans and lines of credit;
Monitor and ensure the collection of student fees;
Ensure annual audits of the school accounts, and implement any further financial controls necessary;
Operating a computerized accounting system incorporating Cash Management producing;
General & Financial Accounting Budgeting;
Relevant Financial Reports;
Updating and implementing all internal controls and guidelines;
Provide direction for Annual audits and Reviewing the Audit Reports;
Participate in preparation of the Annual Budget and its implantation and monitoring;
Monitor the monthly cash flow statement;
Review regularly relevant financial statements and reports;
Review Internal Controls for any updating;
HR UNIT:
Guidance, supervision and assistance to the HR activities ;
Reviewing, assisting and solving to the issues needed for generating HR update report;
Planning, implementation and follow up of Hiring Process (CV shortlisting, selection, negotiation etc.);
Guidance, monitoring and assistance to run the leave administration;
Guidance and monitoring to the action of E-Visa, work permit, Visa extension etc. for Foreign teacher(s);
Prepare a grading system of the staff members including a Salary and benefits pay scale;
Others as and when required by HR department;
ADMIN & LOGISTIC UNIT:
Maintenance of the school building and the leased apartments (if any);
Monitoring all contracts of leased properties, (if any);
Maintenance and repairs of all School equipments and furnishings;
Monitoring the general cleanliness of the school premises;
General management and administration of all areas of office functions;
Logistic and expediting services for expat teachers/employees;
Guidance and monitoring to the action of Logistics personnel relating to the occupancy of Foreign teacher and so on;
Facilitation to the arrangement for welcoming of foreign teachers alike welcome food hampers and orientation program to Dhaka, Bangladesh;
Supervising and guiding the activities of Logistic personnel to ensure the school's security arrangements of office and residential premises, transport system and equipment;
Define guidelines and procedures for assignment and operation of vehicles including log books, fuel/petrol purchase;
Assign vehicles to drivers and control the operation and use of vehicles;
Monitoring and guiding to the action of efficient and logical procurement of school stationary and supplies;
Participating in the procurement committee and set up and maintain the inventory record;
IT UNIT:
Supervising and guiding the activities of IT supervisor with a view to ensure school's ICT system is managed and operated effectively;
2. Support the academic program of the school
Attending meetings like SLT meeting, PTO meeting, Parents meeting, Teachers meeting and Student meeting when necessary;
Procurement and disbursement of course materials from Australia/ IB authorities if necessary other locations;
Assisting with the academic staff on administrative issues, including attending staff meeting with the Principal;
3. Liaison and other Functions
Interacting with the Principal and Executive Committee, particularly the MD and Chairman on a regular basis for all administrative issues of school;
Arranging the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors meetings and attending on request, ensuring minutes recorded and distributed in absence of Company Secretary of IHL;
Liaising with Government Authorities, including RAJUK and oversight constructions of the new school;
Getting familiar with Ministry of Education, GoB rules and regulations for private schools;
Meeting and carrying out lease negotiation with the landlords;
Monitoring and attending all School Functions;
Assist in preparing a marketing plan, enhancement of enrollment or any other documents;
Educational Requirements :
Master in Management/ MBA in Finance/ Accounting/ Business Administration/ Education or a professional degree like FCA/FCMA/CPA/PhD from a reputed university at home country or abroad.
Experience Requirements :
At least 10 year(s)

Must have experience in education administration and finance;
Experience of working in a cross cultural regulated environment with both internal and external demands;
Proven interpersonal and communicative skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team of professionals, interact frequently with members of the Executive Committee and Parents Teachers Association;
Excellent communication skills in both English written and verbal is an essential requirement;
Ability to use the email and computer and strong capability of letter and report writing and preparing guidelines;
Knowledge of reviewing financial reports and participate in preparing budget, cash flows, internal controls and subsequent implementation and monitoring;
IELTS with Band score 7.00+ will be added as an extra value;
